Continuing on with the Christmas/Winter Themed crafts, and thanks to the generosity of friends for providing us with a metric butt load of glass jars for our projects we present to you Christmas tree in a jar!
Really simple to do, and created with dollar store items, this wire tree is a repurposed tree ornament, the small wooden blocks were painted, and then tied with embroidery floss to make them look like colourful presents. A smidgen of salt in the jar it looks like a winter wonderland!
This craft is brought to you by the lovely Miss Malie who designed it, painted it, and put it together. The only thing this Optimistic Mama did was help tie the ribbons!
Yes, I totally did take the jar apart for this picture – the picture of the scene from the outside of the jar just wasn’t it doing it justice.
